New Delhi: Italian government has asked India Government to release Italian marines who have been facing trial in the country. Meanwhile, United Nations has decided to intervene in the said issue of Italian marines. One of the officials said that the organization will go deeply into the details of the issue and then discuss the matter with India Government.
Italy has expressed their great concern over the delaying of the trial of their marines. They were approached the UN and asked them to do the needful for conducting the trial of marines from their own country. Earlier, Italy had approached European Union and NATO for getting the marines freed from India.
