US spy agency develops computer to break priv

United States: The US National Security Agency is trying to develop a computer which can ultimately break most of the installed programs.  They may also be used either to protect other nations’ spying programs or to collect consumers’ bank accounts.

The aforesaid report was from Washington Post which based on documents leaked by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden. This new incident was amid the going on controversy over the spy agency’s program to collect phone records and Internet communications of private citizens.

The Washington Post said that the NSA was trying to develop a so-called “quantum computer” that could be used to break encryption codes used to conceal sensitive information. Such a computer would have amazing features to perform several calculations at a stretch instead in a single stream. According to the news paper sources, the invention of such a computer would take even years.
