Virgin mobile to launch their operations in K

Dubai: Globally famous Virgin Mobile has decided to launch its telecommunications services in Saudi Arabia. The company is expected to start their venture in KSA in the first half of 2014. The industry regulator has given them a license for this requirement. The Communication and Information Technology Commission (CITC) announced that VMMEA, was one of the winning bidders for the three mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) licenses in the kingdom. The arrival of Virgin mobile to Saudi Arabia indicates the biggest shake-up that is going to happen in the kingdom’s telecommunications market within a period of six years. The virgin mobile operators do not own the networks they use but instead lease capacity from conventional operators, usually paying them a percentage of revenues as well as fees   Video on Virgin mobile
