Russia: The 22nd Winter Olympics started at Sochi in Russia with an exciting colorful ceremony.
The main attraction of the inaugural function was the march-past of participants from 87 countries.
Russian President Vladimir Putin inaugurated the Winter Olympics at the Sochi stadium which was packed with thousands of viewers.
The estimated cost of the Sochi Winter Olympics is 39 billion dollar. If so, this will be the ever expensive Winter Olympics in the history.
