Wichita: In 2014 the River fest has been decided to celebrate from May 30th to June 7th.
River-fest is Kansas’ largest community gathering and considered as one of the leading outdoor events in the world.
Regarding the funding of the festival, there are nearly 200 sponsors.
Local companies as well as partners help enormously to promote world-class concerts and programs for the celebrations and make the River-fest a grand success.
Some interesting additions for 2014 River-fest are the St. Francis Ferris Wheel, the Westar Energy Laser Light Spectacular etc.
There will also be a day-long Salute to Aviation supported by the City of Wichita and aviation companies including Airbus, Beechcraft, Cessna, Learjet and Spirit Aero-Systems.
River fest 2014 is the 43rd consecutive celebration of this cultural festival.
The festival offers a wide range of amazing entertainments meant for all the age groups.
River-fest admission buttons are now available to adults for $5 while to children of the age group 6-12 for $3 at selected locations.
