Nitaqat: A group of Keralites in Saudi are in dilemma
Mangalore: The nationalization process in Saudi Arabia has put some Keralites in dilemma. They are in trouble due to the unavailability of legal protection which enables them to withstand the nationalization process in Saudi. They were reached in Saudi Arabia as hotel employees about two years back. The hotel authorities had asked the sponsor to arrange legal protection to these men. But he was not ready to do the needful and get them rescued. Now they are trapped in a room at Riyadh in Al-Naseem areas. Since they have lost their employment, they are struggling even for their food. Moreover, they fear to get out of their room. They were reached in Saudi Arabia in the year 2011 by an agent in Mumbai. It is said that the sponsor had demanded 35000 Saudi Riyal from each of them to arrange the required legal protection. They were not in a position to give that much amount to the sponsor. At the same time, the sponsor was not ready to do the needful without getting the said amount.
