Kolkata: Who is super,  Pele or Maradona? – This was a question from former Indian cricket captain Saurav Ganguly To clear his doubt he passed this question to former Brazilian football captain Carlos Alberto who had played with Pele in World cups. During the discussion Ganguli recalled the mesmerizing movements of Maradona in 1986 world cup encounters. Ganguli said that the goals scored by Maradona in that world cup were unmatched.

In reply to his question Carlos Alberto said that Pele can be considered as the super footballer undoubtedly. In planning and finishing of the game his talents were excellent. According to him Maradona is the greatest footballer who is next to Pele.
