Almonds have the power to reduce LDL choleste


Almonds are considered as a super food for the maintenance of cholesterol levels in the human blood. Hence this nut food is known as the friend of human heart. Almonds are good source of vitamin E as well as Calcium and exhibits high potential to lower the cholesterol level.
Numerous studies with the intake of Almonds have revealed up to a 10% reduction of bad Cholesterol (LDLs) from human blood. Studies were conducted on individuals consuming almonds versus those who do not. The result was amazing and found that the reduction of LDL is without harming the levels of good cholesterol (HDLs) in the blood. Thus the researchers suggested to consume almonds without making any changes to the normal diet of individuals having higher LDL cholesterol level. Meanwhile, such people are also advised to cut down the consumption of all animal fats and many other cholesterol packed foods from their daily diet. Following the habit strictly will certainly help to lower the LDL cholesterol level further.
