Beirut: Human rights organization has claimed that the Syrian army has destroyed thousands of houses of common men.
Recently Syrian natives had supported a protest organized by the opposition. As per the reports, the destruction of the residential houses was a retaliation act of the government.
All these attacks were at locations which are considered as the strongholds of the opposition. But authorities have revealed that the aforesaid demolition of houses was to support the renovation works of the city.
But human rights association pointed out that this is not a time for the renovation works since the country is at the brink of a civil war.
Meanwhile, the houses of natives who support the ruling government were not demolished by the army.
