Ukraine: The interior ministry in Ukraine said that their military has now established full command over the airport in the eastern city of Donetsk.
According to the government sources, the soldiers were in severe encounters for the last one day.
At least 30 pro-Russia separatists are said to have killed in the clashes while the army suffered no casualties. Last day, the Armed separatists were tried to take the control of the airport.
Following that, the Ukraine’s new President Petro Poroshenko had vowed to contain the terrorist insurgencies in the east within hours.
This incident forced Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to call on Mr Poroshenko and ask him to stop military operations in the eastern Ukraine immediately.
Sergei Lavrov has also advised Petro Poroshenko to implement a road-map proposed by the peace negotiation in Geneva on 17 April.
