This is the lesser known waterfall which attracts tourists to the northern part of Wayanad. Sulthan Bathery is the nearest town to this outstanding picnic spot. Wayanad wild life sanctuary is not very far from this enchanting picnic spot. Chethalayam waterfall is found encircled by various types green vegetation which actually add luster to the falling of watercourse. This is a lovely landscape location where the beauty of nature can be enjoyed to its maximum. During extreme summer this thrilling waterfall used to dry up and hence cannot be visible all the year round. This is a marvelous trekking location which compels adventure loving tourists to climb up the rocks and reach the source of the waterfall.
