Communal violence bill to be passed by Rajya


New Delhi: Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde will be presenting the communal violence prevention Bill in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday the fifth of February which is the commencing day of the second part of the winter session.
The Cabinet had modified the aforesaid laws with some changes in December.
Under the new Bill, the NHRC and the state human rights commissions will verify the possible circumstances for maintaining communal harmony in the country.
The Rajya Sabha will also take-up the Bill for consideration in view to protect the rights of people in urban area. The law has already passed by the Lok Sabha.
