Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Government has decided to bring suitable rules to control the real estate sector in the state. This is revealed by the state chief minister Umman Chandy after the cabinet meeting. He has authorized the judiciary department to prepare an appropriate bill regarding this. This is with respect to the mammoth malpractices going on in this field.
The state government had proposals to bring rules to contain the real estate sector during last year. At that time the central government was planning to put forth certain new rules which they could not till now. On that basis, the Kerala state government now decided to reconsider their previous proposals and control the real estate sector in the state.
