New Delhi: Supreme Court has proposed an order that categorizes homosexuality as offence. They have also decided to support the section 377 in the Indian penal code. As per this rule, the individuals engaged in homosexuality can be sentenced to life term imprisonment. They said that the sexual intercourse and homosexuality are entirely different. According to the Supreme sources, the power to discard or amend the rule is with the parliament only. At the same time they have decided to abandon the 2009 Delhi high court verdict regarding homosexuality.
