New Delhi: It is reported that Terrorist activists Indian Mujahidin has been organizing plans to abduct Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. According to police sources their demand would be the release of its co-founder Yaseen Bhatkal.
Yaseen Bhatkal is currently in custody of Karnataka Police in connection with the 2010 Chinnaswamy Stadium blasts. He was arrested by the National Investigation Agency in August 2013. He is also responsible for so many terrorist attacks across the country.
Last day a senior police officer had met Kejriwal and informed about the threat from the terrorist organization and persuaded him to accept adequate security cover. Sanjay Singh one of the top leaders of Aam Aadmi Party revealed that Kejriwal did not accept the proposal put forth by the police. He also said that any top leader of the Aam Aadmi Party is not planning to accept security cover.
Kejriwal’s refusal to accept security cover is to fulfill his party’s policy to ‘stop VIP culture in politics’. Last week, intelligence officials had warned that Kejriwal could be the target of water and tender mafia who had threatened him on account of his anti-corruption policies.
