Washington: It is said that al Queda leader Al-Zawahiri and the core of al Qaeda are locked up in a battle with ISIS for the leadership of the global jihadist movement on the basis of very different visions and strategies.
ISIS was expelled from al Qaeda as they rejected al-Zawahiri’s demand and forced to restrict its activities to Iraq.
Prominent jihadi preachers like Abu Muhammad al Maqdisi and Abu Qatada have blamed ISIS for its deviation.
The unique movement of ISIS has captured the imagination of new generation jihadists working from Arab and European states.
