Qunu (South Africa): Nelson Mandela returned to eternity on Sunday. Hereafter, his name and life history would be a picture of remembrance only. The funeral of Mandela was at Qunu with full state honors. It was at this location where he had spent his childhood. His death which plunged the whole world in to sorrow was on Dec 5th. For the last three days his body was at Pretoria to enable the people of the country to pay tribute to the departed leader. Then, the same was brought to Qunu on Saturday with the escort of military officials. At the time of cremation, the South African air force planes flew round the sky as a mark of respect to their favorite leader.
