Mumbai: Actress cum designer Mandira Bedi has made her Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014 debut and showcased a sari collection titled “Real Women”.
She has also given a surprise to audience when she presented her mother Geeta Bedi as her shows-topper.
Dressed in a blue sari with golden border, Geeta looked cute and fine when she hit the ramp.
When asked to say a few words, Mandira’s mother said that she is proud to be the shows-topper.
During the show the runway was with Mandira’s summer Saree collections having shades similar to blue, pink and green. There were also saris having golden border and printed ones. As she said earlier, her collections were high on effects and low on decorations.
