Provident-fund retirement age to be renewed a


New Delhi: The employees provident-fund organisation has decided to increase the age of retirement from 58 to 60.

Hence the employees who are the members of E PF are eligible to make remittance to the fund till they attain the age of 60.

The decision put-forth by the government would be reviewed by the high level committee of the provident-fund organisation called the central board of trustees (CBT).

In addition to this, members of the pension scheme who have completed 20 years of services would be exempted from the bonus of two years.

Together with this, the labor ministry has also forwarded the decision to renew the minimum pension of the provident-fund as Rs.1000/. According to the ministry of lob our these decisions will be benefited to employees of the provident-fund scheme to a greater extent.
