New Delhi: In the interim budget, the railway has not made any hike in train fare as well as in luggage charge.
In the previous railway budget, there were increase in train fare as well as luggage charge. By presenting the railway budget, Railway minister, Mallikarjun Kharge said that developments are inevitable in Railway sector on a large scale. He has stressed the need to avoid plastic containers in railway catering units. He has also proposed the system of increasing train fares in premium trains during heavy rush. Hence in premium trains ticket fares will not be stationary. They are subjected to change according to the volume of rush.
