Kolkata: The congress party in west Bengal has offered a Rajya Sabha seat to Saurav Ganguli, the former Indian cricket captain. The congress in West Bengal expects that it would be highly beneficial if they could give a party ticket to the veteran cricketer who has got an amazing network of admirers all over India. Apart from this offer, the congress party leaders in the state have met Ganguli in person and made discussions. But they told to media men that their meeting with Ganguli was absolutely personal. Earlier BJP had offered Lok Sabha seat ticket to Ganguli. At that time he had said that his entrance to the politics is not yet decided.
