Texas: In the colorful Texas Folk life heritage programs more than 40 cultural and community groups have participated.
This year the theme of the celebration was”Taste of the World.”
Visitors as well as tourists have got valuable chances to taste the country’s ethnic food items.
This is the reason as to why everybody loved this year’s Festival most.
There were more than 30 ethnic and cultural food booths at the festival venues, for serving more than 150 cookery delights.
Important among them were Argentine, Belgian, Chinese, Filipino, German, Greek, Pakistani, Polish, Cajun etc.
Along with food, the Festival offered a wide variety of, craft demonstrations, educational activities, and fun entertainments for the whole family.
There were also live entertainments on six stages, including Ballet Folkloric by Lebanese, Ukrainian, Hawaiian and Native American dancers.
There were also performances known as Country, Bluegrass, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Tango in addition to usual musical feast.
There were also opportunities to view the craft demonstrations from basket makers, weavers, bread bakers, wood carvers, blacksmiths etc who displayed their magnificent skills.
