New Delhi: According to the new order put forth by the Supreme Court, no permission from the Central Government is required for the trials of high officials which have been carrying out by various other courts in the country. By this order, the obstacles found in the trial of high officials involved in the Coal-field corruption issues have been removed.
As per the Delhi special police establishment act, prior permission from the central government is required for the trial of high officials. But, by the new order from the Supreme Court, this Delhi police act stands invalid.
