New York: US court has decided to dismiss charges against Indian diplomat Devayani Khobragade. Her arrest from New York and physical examination carried out by the American policemen had become a highly controversial matter globally. The issue had created slight flop between the relationship of US and India. According to the latest court judgment, Devyani Khobragade had diplomatic immunity when she was accused of dishonestly collecting a work visa for her housekeeper and lying about the salary of the servant-maid But the new court judgment renders prosecutors an opportunity to bring a new legal document against her. The US attorney’s office in Manhattan hasn’t either commented or revealed anything regarding its plans. Khobragade’s attorney, Daniel Arshak, said that the law behind the judgment would get prevailed. After being charged on the issue, she was following the department of state order to leave the US. The Indian government then asked Washington to withdraw a diplomat from the US embassy in New Delhi which later considered by the US government.
