Hanoi: Vietnam has been appreciated for its active participation for the search operations of the missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370.
The remark was made at a meeting of defense departments from 21 countries. As per the reports from voice of Vietnam, Vietnam had mobilized nearly 2,400 personnel, 11 planes of various kinds, 10 ships and one set of tracking radar during the time-frame of March 8 to 15. Apart from these, about 815 fishing vessels from Vietnam were also joined in the search operations. But all such full-fledged search operations were in vain. Later according to the satellite images the authorities changed the venue of search operations and now the search operations are being carried out at the sector southern Indian Ocean near Australia.
