Jamaica (Caribbean Islands): The Annual Jamaica International Jazz festival is a remarkable musical feast. The event will offer exciting days of great music. This is a superb musical entertainment and healthy family and community participation. This festival is celebrated by including international Jazz performers from Europe and the United States, in addition to the renowned jazz artistes from Caribbean Islands especially Jamaica.
OchoRios jazz Festival has developed and established itself as a recognized authority for promoting and showcasing distinguished International as well as Jamaican (Caribbean) Jazz musicians/artists. Its format is one of a kind and is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of ‘‘Classical Black Music and America’s First Art Form”. The month of June is known as Jazz month for the Caribbean. This year’s musical concert started in Jamaica on June 8th and will be continuing till 15 of June 2014.
