Ravichandran Ashwin on Thursday became the fastest Indian bowler to take hundred wickets in Test cricket, reaching the landmark with his 3 for 45 in the second Test against West Indies on Thursday.Ashwin surpassed legendary Indian spinner Erapalli Prasanna who had achieved the feat in 20 Tests. Ashwin reached the milestone in his 18th match by picking up the wicket of Windies skipper Darren Sammy on Thursday.
Ashwin has been in superb form in the series not only with the ball but with his contribution with the bat as well. He scored an important ton in last match at Eden Gardens .With his bowling and all-round contribution, Ashwin has topped the charts in the ICC Test Rankings for all-rounders after he scored a ton in the first Test.
