Madura: A part of the temple tower of the famous Madura Meenakshi Temple fallen yesterday due to heavy rain followed by severe lightning and thunder. During that occasion there was nobody at the nearby locations. Thus a major accident was avoided. This heavy rain has been pouring in various parts of Tamil Nadu for the last ten days. Police and revenue officials arrived at the site and assessed the situation.
