Vadodhara (Gujarat): The mass run conducted by the BJP in view to collect support to construct a giant statue of Sardar Vallabhai Patel, the architect of modern india, at Narmada was inaugurated by Narendra Modi. Patel’s 63^rd death anniversary was on last Sunday.  The motto of this mass run was unity among the people and streets. Such mass runs were organized in 1100 centers including Kerala, Patna, Kolkata, Lucknow etc. According to Modi the intentions of these mass runs are the integration of our nation and the unity among people. He requested the people not to politicize the mass run.

It has been decided to name the huge statue of Sardar Patel as ‘the statue of Unity’. The iron material required to mould this colossal statue will be collecting from different parts of the nation.
