Islamabad: Pakistan military has been planning an encounter with Taliban in Waziristan sector which is considered as the stronghold of Taliban in Pakistan. This is also the border area of Pakistan with Afghanistan.

Military sources said that the Pakistan army has arranged everything required for a major attack on Taliban terrorists. Now they have been waiting for an attack-order from the authorities.

The plan for an encounter with Taliban is the outcome of the discussion taken place between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Army Chief Raheel Sheriff. They had also convened a meeting of high military Officials.

According to them, military intervention is the only alternative to face the threat from Taliban. Recently the terrorists had attacked various bases of Pakistan army. This is the main reason to think about a counterattack.
