Washington (USA): Former Alaska Governor. Sarah Plain (R) and other Republicans are of an opinion to impeach President Barack Obama. The U.S. Constitution may get excited on hearing about this idea.
Congress rarely uses its power to impeach the ruler of the nation, and impeachment is very infrequent in the history of US constitution. In the case of US president, it has never resulted the removal from his office. In the history of United States, Congress has initiated impeachment proceedings more than 60 times.
As per the latest analysis one-third of Americans and two-thirds of Republicans believe in the impeachment of President Obama. These numbers reflect an increasingly popular view in conservative circles.
But Republicans have already cited a number of reasons on why they are hesitant to file articles of impeachment against the president. However, as per the history and the language of the Constitution they have suggested that they would fail if they tried impeachment.
