Ximhungwe (South Africa): A woman at the age of sixty years is said to have married with a nine year boy in South Africa.

She was married in her early ages and currently a mother of five grownups.

The event took place in a wedding ceremony at Kildare Village in South Africa.

By this marriage with the nine year old boy, she was renewing her marriage vows.

Name of the woman is Helen Shabangu while that of the boy is Sanele Masilela.

It is said that the couple had got married last year also

The second ceremony was to make it “official,” as required by the boy.

But members of both the families have made it clear that the marriage has no legal support at all and the pair has not decided to live together.

At the wedding venue Shabangu’s husband, Alfred Shabangu was also present.

He was speaking in support of the wedding.

Masilela said to Barcroft Media that this unusual event was to meet the wishes of his dead ancestors.

According to certain villagers, the news regarding the wedding ceremony was a revolting one, since Helen Shabangu is a mother of five grownups.
