New Delhi: The Supreme Court in India has demanded an immediate redressal over the controversy surrounding the alleged mismanagement observed at the famous Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple in Kerala. By expressing sharp reaction, the Supreme Court has said that there are certain ‘disturbing features’ and ‘extremely serious’ issues in the temple management which require immediate redressal.
One of the senior advocates said that proper sealing and locking of trunks has to be carried out as those seals were found broken.
Amicus Curiae Gopal Subramaniam had submitted a comprehensive report last week to the Supreme Court pointing out alleged mismanagement of the temple wealth.
As per the report, there had been instances of alleged gold smuggling with the secret approval of the trustees of the temple, whose underground vaults contain treasures.
