Washington: Here are some good news for selfie-lovers. This is a ‘smart’ mirror that automatically clicks a photo when someone stands in front of it and smiles has been developed. The mirror named SELFIE (Self-Enhancing Live Feed Image Engine) comprises of a built in camera, a facial recognition software and a LED countdown timer. The web-cam and software detect the user’s face and start indicating a countdown with LED lights. The two-way mirror developed by US-based iStrategy labs, appears as an ordinary mirror from the front with all its components are hidden behind. They devised the mirror as a fun and easy way to take selfies. According to them, the mirror could be used in a variety of environments, from businesses to bars. A custom vinyl graphic on the floor lets the user know exactly where to stand and smile to enable the mirror to trigger. The mirror can help click the perfect selfie as users can view themselves and adjust their positions as well as style accordingly without having to hold a camera or phone. Once the photo has been clicked, the snap will automatically uploaded to Twitter.
