Two UN employees abducted in Karachi


Islamabad: Unidentified gunmen have kidnapped two local employees of the UN from Karachi, the port city of Pakistan.
As per the Xinhua reports, the employees were abducting from their car. These local employees are identified as Sami Nawaz and Farukh Salim who belong to Hyderabad in Pakistan. Both of them were on a leisure visit in Karachi.
According to Police officials they might have been abducted since their mobile phones are in a switched off condition.
No contact with the two employees could be established, as their cell phones are not responding. However the security forces have started a massive search operation in an area from where they received signal of their mobile phones.
No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
