Vehicle accident helps chickens to escape

China: More than 2,000 chickens got freed from their cages when a lorry transporting them overturned on a motorway in China. The released chickens were running throughout the road and surrounding grassland. Images show as the lorry lying on the road side with the birds running around the road. The accident which made the chicken free was on a road in Guizhou Province, south-west China.
The traffic police at the location were attempting to chase these running chickens and place them back in their coops.
The aftermath following the accident forced police to close down a section of the motorway in the southwestern Guizhou province.
The truck was carrying coops containing a total of 3,000 chickens, of which 900s are said to have escaped. Nobody was reported to have injured in the accident.
As per the reports the vehicle had swerved when the driver tried to stop the vehicle while driving in dense fog.
