Veteran  pacer Zaheer Khan has made it to the squad for the two Tests against South Africa in December. while Gautam Gambhir has failed to make the team. The national selectors, headed by Sandeep Patil, picked the squad in Vadodara on Monday.Ambati Rayudu has made the Test squad.The 17-member test squad is headed by Dhoni.Zaheer, who last played for India during the home Tests against England last December, was recently omitted from the list of centrally contracted players for the current season. Ravindra  Jadeja ,returns to the test squad  after sitting out the West Indies Tests to rest his injured shoulder.The tour consist of 3 ODI and 2 test which starts on december 5.
