New Mexico: A man from New Mexico is said to have lost his genitals after being bitten by a cruel dog, who is humorously called Stitches.
The 35-year-old victim was trying to protect his eight-year-old daughter when the pit-bull turned against him.
The weight of the mixed breed is found to be 90 pound (40 pound).
Albuquerque Police Department spokesman Simon Drobik who rushed to the spot said that the man was bleeding severely and holding his groin.
The powerful animal had barred on to his groin following his intervention.
His brave action was to save his daughter who suffered with only a punctured cheek in the attack.
The unnamed man was taken to the University of New Mexico Hospital, having suffered severe injuries and partial detachment of the genitals.
He later revealed that he had genetic Stitches from his departed grandfather after moving into his home three days early.
The dog was removed from the property and will be put up for adoption if the family do not claim him back in ten days.
