Colombia: The Nobsa city in Columbia celebrated the forthcoming World Cup Soccer Tournament by arranging a friendly football match played entirely by sheep.
This exciting game was to observe the entry of Columbia to the World Cup Soccer Tournament after a time-frame of 16-years.
During the match, the sheep were divided into two teams representing Colombia and the World Cup hosts Brazil.
They were dressed in customized jerseys of these countries and named them in honor of the actual stars who are going to take the field in a week’s time.
There were over 400 spectators to cheer-up the farmyard footballers.
It was really interesting to watch the four-legged footballers playing the Soccer match.
For this purpose they were trained for two weeks to recognize and kick a soccer ball manufactured out of foam.
The goalposts in the playground were specially made of wooden logs.
The final result was a 4-3 victory for Colombia, thanks to a goal in the final 50th minute by the midfielder sheep named “James Rodriguez,”.
The actual ‘James Rodriguez’ has been playing for the French club Monaco.
