Supreme court asks Sreenivasan to resign

New Delhi: Supreme court of India asked BCCI president Sreenivasan to resign from the post for enabling a free and fair inquiry on the issues related to the Indian Premier League cricket matches. The court said that if he is not resigning by himself, a fresh order will be issued to get him out from the presidential position. Sreenivasan was not ready to resign from the position when there were complaints against him before. So, the new order from the Supreme court will be a severe blow to the BCCI president.

The current order from the supreme court is on the basis of the Mudghal report regarding the issues on Indian Premier League Cricket matches.
