Christ Church: Both Scotland and UAE are qualified to participate in the one-day World Cup Cricket tournament to be commenced next year.

In the super six stage of the qualifying round Scotland defeated Kenya for three wickets while UAE registered victory over Namibia for 36 runs. All these qualifying rounds were held at Ranghiyora in Newzealand.

This is the second occasion that UAE qualifies for the World Cup encounters. Regarding Scotland, this is the third entry to the World Cup Cricket.

In the final match of the qualifying round, both the winners will meet to decide their entries to either Group A or Group B. The match winner will be qualified to play in Group A while the looser falls in Group B.
