Beijing: In China an ostrich was caught while breaking through a toll gate before racing against a truck on the highway.
The ostrich was disrupting traffic by running alongside a truck on the highway.
The incident has made vehicle drivers as well as traffic police to get astonished for a while.
But as soon as a truck passed by, the ostrich, which is native to Africa, started running after it.
The owner of the ostrich said that the flightless bird was domesticated with a female one in his house and found missing from that morning.
The two-metre-tall ostrich was found by the traffic police hours later and they tried hard to push the giant bird towards the highway exit.
