Valencia (Spain): A bear owner is being questioned by police after he left his carnivorous pet tied to a lamp post while he went for drinking.
The unnamed owner of the bear was due to take part in a Spanish festival near Valencia where the bear was to dance to the timer’s trumpet in a legal animal entertainment show.
The Spanish man was due to take part in the celebrations while the turn of his hairy friend was only on the next day.
Unfortunately, a violent storm forced the event to be canceled.
Instead of returning back to home with his four-legged companion, the owner opted to enjoy local culture and took his bear along for the ride.
Since the animal didn’t get entry to indoors, he was left to be soaked in the storm outside.
Local people, who used to see dogs tied to lamp posts outside bars, were hurrying to take photos of the unusual visitor and reported it to the local authorities.
The bear was expected to parade down the streets and dance to its owner’s trumpet during the festival.
Organizers have blamed the actions of the unnamed drinker and said that they would be contacting him for an explanation.
