United States: Authorities are thinking to develop a business partnerships between women in Afghanistan and United States.
“Peace Through Business” is an initiative that has been focused for enabling women in the developing world by helping them to grow their businesses.
For the past seven years, the program has provided women with economic courses in their home countries while, a week of mentorship with a business in the US.
The aim is to help women in these countries to do business on a global scale.
BBC Persian’s Sam Farzaneh has met with two women who have been taking part in one such a programe.
They are Manhiza Wafeq, who owns a boutique in Kabul, and Cindy Shelby Meyers, who is mentoring Wafeq at her boutique in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
