Amsterdam: Google has initiated experiments on Android.
This is a site meant to encourage and showcase projects to be carried out through the mobile-linked platform.
According to ‘The Next Web’, the experiments performed in the gallery are to be submitted to Google.
They are meant to celebrate the creative, experimental Android work of developers everywhere and inspire more such developers to get creative capability with technology and code.
It also appears as an open invitation to submit fresh projects.
The users can submit any project which showcases a unique and smart use with Android.
Google said that it is searching experiments that broaden the boundaries regarding the possible application on Android whereas the requirements can be understood from the project submission page.
A small team of Google engineers are authorized to review all such submissions.
According to Google sources, 20 projects will be currently available on the site which were built on platforms like the Android SDK, NDK, Android Wear, IOIO board, Cinder and Unity.
All such featured experiments presented on the website are open source projects while their code made are available on GitHub.
Moreover, all apps are made available for download on Google Play.
