Hungry sea lion pulls off a man holding fish from a boat in California


California: A man holding a fish is reported to have injured after he was being pulled into the water by a sea lion.
The marine beast animal which jumped from the sea water at a San Diego marina is said to have grabbed the fish that was holding by the man.
San Diego Fire Rescue spokesman Lee Swanson said that the sea lion was jumped onto the railing of a boat at the Hyatt Mission Bay Marina and snatched a fish being held by the man on the boat.
According to Sawson, the man who was pulled down into the water by the hungry sealion for about 15 seconds, later brought to a hospital where he was treated for cuts on his arm and hand.
Media, citing witnesses including lifeguards, revealed that the man was posing for a marvelous photo with the large fish when the incident occurred.
Many of the California sea lions are pups. They have been washing ashore stranded and hungry in record numbers in recent months.
