Ohio: A three-year-old boy in US is reported to have killed himself while playing with his mother’s handgun.
The Ohio police in US said that the boy was found fatally wounded himself in the chest and the gun recovered from his home near Cincinnati.
It was the boy’s mother Elizabeth Green, who reported the incident to the police. According to the police she was highly sensational while the prosecutors are thinking to arrest her on the basis of the accidental death of her son.
While reporting to the police, she said that the handgun used by the boy was inside her purse and had kept the purse down at home before the tragedy.
A local media said that the boy had been identified as Marques Green.
A detective was seen leaving the home with a small black handgun, and placing it into an evidence bag.
This month, this is the second accidental shooting death of a child in the Ohio region.
According to data compiled by Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, about 100 children die in the US every year in accidental shootings while playing with the gun.
